Contest Rules Auto

 

Task:

The pilot will take the helicopter up 200 feet and kill the engine. Each pilot will attempt this three times. There is no practice autos.

Object:

The pilot will try to get the nose of the helicopter as close to the spot on the ground as they can.

Scoring:

            The judge will measure the distance from the nose of the helicopter to the spot on the ground. This distance will be the score for the attempt.

 

The three attempts will be added together and the pilot with the lowest score will win. There will be places for up to 3rd place.

 

Contest Rules Auto for money

 

This is the only contest that a sponsored pilot can enter into and the winner will win 60 % of the money and 2nd will take 30% and 3rd 10%.

The entry fee is $5.00 a pilot.
