Maneuvers

Intermediate Maneuvers

1Approach from the right flying straight and level the helicopter will make 1 aileron roll in either direction with the helicopter being inverted in the center of the pilot then pulling up to a straight vertical climb doing a 180° pirouette and then into a straight vertical down line returning to the same altitude approaching from the left the helicopter will do 1 aileron roll either direction finishing on the right.
2The helicopter with skids down will start from a stationary hover in front of the pilot looking at tail. The helicopter will then do 2 stationary tumbles in either direction. Returning to a hover. Then the helicopter will do a 180° pirouette looking at the nose and then the helicopter will do 2 stationary tumbles in ether direction. Returning into a hover.
3The pilot will bring the helicopter into a hover at approximately 10 feet with skids down looking at the tail in front of the pilot. Then do 2 complete constant pirouettes clockwise (no less than 4 seconds each) without losing altitude and moving from the starting point. Then the helicopter will do 2 complete constant pirouettes counter clockwise (no less than 4 seconds each) without losing altitude and moving from the starting point.
44. The pilot will bring the helicopter into a hover at approximately 10 feet with skids down looking at the tail in front of the pilot. This maneuver will be performed with a constant pirouette (either direction) at a constant rate from start to finish of the maneuver. The pilot will do 2 pirouettes before continuing into a vertical pirouette climb out consisting of 1 pirouette, stopping approximately at an altitude of 20 feet. Then complete 2 pirouettes before descending. The descent will consist of 1 pirouette to the same altitude that the helicopter entered into the vertical climb out. Then the pilot will do 2 pirouettes before stopping the helicopter tail to the pilot.
5The helicopter with skids down will start from the left hovering looking at the left side. The helicopter will do 2 rainbows tail down from left to right and back to left into a skid down hover. Then the pilot will then position the helicopter to the right of the pilot looking at the right side of the helicopter. Then the pilot will do 2 rainbows tail down from right to left and back to right into a skid down hover.
6The helicopter will be flying in from the right and start a 720° hurricane with the skids out or in. The helicopter will exit out to the left. Then the helicopter will be flying in from the left and start a 720° hurricane with the skids out or in. The helicopter will exit out to the right.
7The helicopter will approach from the right with skids down and start a series of continuous pirouettes (either direction) approximately 10 meters on the right of center and making a vertical square in the sky while pirouetting and exiting to the left at the same altitude and heading as entered. The helicopter will return from the left and repeat the same maneuver from left to right.
8The helicopter with skids down will start from the right hovering looking at the tail approximately 10 feet above the ground. This maneuver will be performed with a constant pirouette (either direction) at a constant rate during the maneuver. Then the helicopter will do a vertical climb out to approximately 20 feet above the ground. Then move to the left of the pilot. Then the helicopter will descend approximately 10 feet above the ground on the left. Then the helicopter will return from the left doing the same maneuver from left to right finishing on the right side of the pilot.
9With the helicopter approaching from in forward flight the left the helicopter will make a vertical circle with the skids down. The helicopters will then exit out on the right at the same altitude and heading as entered. Then the helicopter will return from the right doing the same maneuver from right to left finishing in a on the left.
10With the helicopter approaching from the left in forward flight the helicopter will make a vertical figure eight pattern with the skids down starting the first circle of the eight in the center of the figure eight. The helicopter will then exit out on the figure eight on the right at the same altitude and heading as entered. Then the helicopter will return from the right in forward flight doing the same maneuver from right to left finishing on the left.
